Online Method:

1. Visit the official Income Tax e-filing website: https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/.
2. Under the 'Quick Links' section, look for the option 'Link Aadhaar'.
3. Click on 'Link Aadhaar'.
4. Fill in the required details such as PAN, Aadhaar number, and name exactly as mentioned in the respective documents.
5. After filling in the details, click on the 'Link Aadhaar' button.
6. Once successfully linked, you will receive a confirmation message.

SMS Method:

1. Type UIDPAN <12 digit Aadhaar> <10 digit PAN> and send it to 567678 or 56161 from your registered mobile number.
   • Example: UIDPAN 123456789012 ABCDE1234F

Offline Method:

1. Visit a nearby PAN service center and submit a duly filled and signed PAN-Aadhaar linking form along with supporting documents.
2. You can also link Aadhaar with PAN by sending a letter to the Income Tax Department’s Central Processing Centre (CPC) requesting the linkage.

Make sure your name, date of birth, and gender match in both Aadhaar and PAN databases. If there are any discrepancies, you might face issues during the linking process. It's advisable to verify and rectify any discrepancies beforehand.
