e aadhar card download app

e aadhar card download app  As of my last update in January 2022, there isn't an official e-Aadhaar card download app provided by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). However, you can download your e-Aadhaar card directly from the official UIDAI website using a web browser on your smartphone or computer.

Here's how you can download your e-Aadhaar card using a web browser on your smartphone:

  1. Open Web Browser: Launch any web browser on your smartphone.
  2. Visit UIDAI Website: Go to the official UIDAI website by typing the URL https://uidai.gov.in/ in the address bar and press Enter.
  3. Access Aadhaar Services: Look for the "My Aadhaar" tab or section on the UIDAI website's homepage. Click on it to access Aadhaar services.
  4. Select "Download Aadhaar": Under the Aadhaar Services section, find and click on the "Download Aadhaar" option.
  5. Enter Aadhaar Details: On the "Download Aadhaar" page, you'll be prompted to enter your Aadhaar number, VID (Virtual ID), or EID (Enrollment ID), along with other required details such as your full name, PIN code, and the security code displayed on the screen.
  6. Request OTP: After entering the necessary details, click on the "Request OTP" button. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar.
  7. Enter OTP: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number in the designated field on the website and click on "Submit."
  8. Download e-Aadhaar: Once the OTP is verified, you'll be able to download your e-Aadhaar in PDF format. Click on the "Download Aadhaar" button to save the file to your device.
  9. Open and Verify: Open the downloaded PDF file using a PDF viewer application. To access the e-Aadhaar, you'll need to enter the password. The password consists of the first four letters of your name in capital letters followed by your birth year (YYYY). For example, if your name is "John" and your birth year is 1990, the password will be "JOHN1990."
