To download your e-Aadhaar, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the UIDAI Official Website: Open your web browser and go to the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) by typing the URL https://uidai.gov.in/ in the address bar and pressing Enter.
  2. Navigate to "My Aadhaar" Section: Look for the "My Aadhaar" tab on the UIDAI website's homepage and click on it.
  3. Select "Download Aadhaar": Under the "My Aadhaar" section, you'll find various options. Click on "Download Aadhaar" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Enter Aadhaar Details: On the "Download Aadhaar" page, you'll be prompted to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, VID (Virtual ID), or EID (Enrollment ID), along with other required details such as your full name, PIN code, and the security code displayed on the screen.
  5. Request OTP: After entering the necessary details, click on the "Send OTP" button. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar.
  6. Enter OTP: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number in the designated field on the website and click on "Submit."
  7. Download Aadhaar: Once the OTP is successfully verified, you'll be able to download your e-Aadhaar card in PDF format. Click on the "Download Aadhaar" button to save the file to your device.
  8. Open and Verify: Open the downloaded PDF file using a PDF viewer application. To access the e-Aadhaar, you'll need to enter the password. The password consists of the first four letters of your name in capital letters followed by your birth year (YYYY). For example, if your name is "John" and your birth year is 1990, the password will be "JOHN1990."
  9. Print or Save: Once you've verified the details in your e-Aadhaar, you can either print it out or save it securely on your device for future reference.
