To get an Aadhaar card, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Visit Aadhaar Enrollment Center: Locate the nearest Aadhaar enrollment center in your area. You can find the nearest center by visiting the official UIDAI website or by using the mAadhaar app.
  2. Fill the Enrollment Form: Obtain the Aadhaar enrollment form either from the enrollment center or download it from the UIDAI website. Fill in the required details accurately.
  3. Submit Documents: Submit the filled enrollment form along with supporting documents such as proof of identity, proof of address, proof of date of birth, and any other required documents.
  4. Biometric Data Capture: At the enrollment center, your photograph, fingerprints, and iris scan will be taken as part of the biometric data collection process.
  5. Receipt Generation: After completing the enrollment process, you will receive an acknowledgment slip containing the enrollment number (EID). Keep this acknowledgment slip safe as it will be required for tracking the status of your Aadhaar application.
  6. Aadhaar Generation: Your Aadhaar card will be generated and sent to you by post to the address provided in the application form. This process usually takes a few weeks.
  7. Download e-Aadhaar (Optional): Once your Aadhaar is generated, you can download the e-Aadhaar from the UIDAI website using your enrollment number (EID) or Aadhaar number (UID).

It's important to note that Aadhaar enrollment is free of cost. Make sure to verify all the details provided during enrollment to avoid any discrepancies in your Aadhaar card
