JAN AADHAR

JAN AADHAR is a voluntary ID card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to residents of India. It serves as a form of identification and contains demographic and biometric information of the cardholder. JAN AADHAR is similar to the regular Aadhaar card but is issued without any requirement for biometric authentication or UIDAI officials' involvement.

To obtain a JAN AADHAR card:

1. Visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.
2. Fill out the Aadhaar Enrolment Form with your personal details such as name, address, date of birth, etc.
3. Submit the required documents such as proof of identity and proof of address.
4. Your demographic and biometric information will be collected at the enrolment centre.
5. After the verification process, your JAN AADHAR card will be generated and sent to your registered address via post.

It's essential to note that JAN AADHAR is issued free of cost, and individuals are not required to pay any fees for enrolment or card issuance.
