If you need to update your mobile number in your Aadhaar card, you can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the UIDAI Official Website: Go to the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) at https://uidai.gov.in/.
  2. Click on "Update Your Aadhaar": On the UIDAI website's homepage, find and click on the "Update Your Aadhaar" link. This will direct you to the Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal.
  3. Click on "Proceed to Update Aadhaar": On the Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal, click on the "Proceed to Update Aadhaar" button.
  4. Enter Aadhaar Details: You will be asked to enter your Aadhaar number and solve the captcha code. Enter these details and click on "Send OTP" or "Enter a TOTP" if you have mAadhaar installed on your smartphone.
  5. Enter OTP or TOTP: If you chose to receive an OTP, it will be sent to your existing mobile number registered with UIDAI. Enter this OTP on the website. If you chose to use TOTP, open your mAadhaar app and generate the TOTP, then enter it on the website.
  6. Select Mobile Number Update: On the next page, select "Mobile Number" under the "Select field(s) you want to update" section.
  7. Update Mobile Number: Enter your new mobile number that you want to update in your Aadhaar card and click on "Submit."
  8. Verify Details: Verify the mobile number entered and click on "Proceed."
  9. Generate OTP for Final Submission: An OTP will be sent to your new mobile number. Enter this OTP on the website to verify the update request.
  10. Download Updated Aadhaar: After successful submission and verification, you will receive a URN (Update Request Number). You can use this URN to track the status of your update request. Once the update is processed, you can download your updated Aadhaar card with the new mobile number.

Make sure to keep your new mobile number handy as you'll need it for OTP verification during the update process. Also, ensure that the new mobile number you provide is active and accessible to receive OTPs.
